Driver Experiences
Hosted at the Beer Heights Light Railway in Beer, Devon, our Steam Locomotive Driver Experiences offer the opportunity to get behind the controls of a miniature steam locomotive and discover what it takes to operate a working railway.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you'll learn about locomotive operation and gain hands-on experience driving a steam train. Choose from three experiences, from a half-day introduction to a full-day course or our Advanced Course, designed for those who have already completed the one-day driver experience.
