An Update for 2026
Pecorama is pleased to provide an update following our November 2025 statement regarding the future of the attraction.
While Pecorama is not operating as a traditional daily visitor attraction, we have been delighted by the response to the opening days and special events we have held during 2026.
Earlier this year, we welcomed visitors for our Beer Heights Light Railway Gala events, followed by a series of General Admission days throughout August. The response to these openings has been extremely positive, with visitors once again enjoying the Beer Heights Light Railway, Pecorama Gardens and Model Railway Exhibition.
It has been particularly encouraging to see families, railway enthusiasts and returning visitors back at Pecorama, and the success of these opening days has demonstrated the continued appetite for what Pecorama offers.
More Opening Days to Come
Following the success of our summer opening days, we are pleased to announce a further six opening days in October.
Pecorama will be open on 20th, 21st and 22nd October, followed by 27th, 28th and 29th October 2026, from 10am to 4pm.
Tickets for these dates will go on sale from 1st September.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a ride on the Beer Heights Light Railway, explore the beautifully landscaped Pecorama Gardens and visit the PECO Model Railway Exhibition. The Harburn Hobbies Model Shop will also be open for visitors.
Tours & Experiences
Alongside our selected opening days and special events, Pecorama continues to offer a range of pre-booked Tours and Experiences.
These provide opportunities to discover more about PECO and its model railway heritage, go behind the scenes and enjoy a range of unique railway and modelling experiences.
Looking Ahead
We would like to thank everyone who has visited Pecorama during 2026 and supported our opening days and events. The enthusiasm and positive response from visitors has been hugely encouraging.
Pecorama has always been about bringing together steam railways, model railways, beautiful gardens and memorable experiences, and it has been wonderful to see the site brought back to life by visitors once again.
